There's this huge power of cards... especially handwritten ones.
It's like when I read them, I can picture the writer writing the card and somehow a barely audible voice of the writer reading the card to me will appear. heh. I just got this fuzzy wuzzy feeling while reading the cards(and notes) that I've got this year. Thanks my lovely girls :)

Of course, most of the time only girls will do such things right? :)
I really love cards and long messages.

Sometimes I ask myself what have I done to deserve this amount of love that I've got from friends. I really ought to cherish everyone and count my blessings. There are people who we don't meet up often but we will always be dear to each other and I am really glad I found them. Though I can't make everyone love me and neither can I please everyone, I am glad that there are people who choose to stay by choice though sometimes I really feel that I am undeserving of their love.

Then again, life often revolves around surprises, routines and disappointments.
I guess sometimes when you're too close to someone, things get taken for granted... somehow... gradually.

I wonder if I am the only person who like to relate things? Like a certain time of a year, I will think of how I spent it the year before and reminisce. It happens every year. Like Christmas, birthday, Valentine's day etc.? heh, I can't be the only weirdo around if this is considered weird.

I believe love involves two person making the same impulse decision, deciding to take a plunge together. heh, I don't know how long I can hold this belief for but right now, I still hold on to this belief. Sometimes, I just feel like I am being taken for granted........ and maybe that's what we all do all the time? Take some people for granted at some point of time throughout our life?

When I think someone is really worth it, I really go my all to help the person or do whatever I can that to keep the friendship going but sometimes, just sometimes, maybe it kind of become like an usual thing that I will, somehow, ask you out... like some unspoken rule or something?... so people tend to just wait for my call....? I don't know eh... but I am really bad at planning those group gatherings... which is why I usually ask just one or a couple of friends out at one time :/

Maybe it is the downpour outside right now... maybe it is the lack of sleep for a week... or maybe it is the frustration that come from the condition of my skin... maybe it is the keep your head down & get out thing... or maybe, I just want to kill time at work, hahaha. I might regret typing this chunk of nonsensical stuff... (if you realised my thoughts are always disorganised, lol) but well, yea, right now, at this point of time, I feel like I am taken for granted and it sucks so much >:(

I am trying really hard not to take my parents for granted. We should all do that right? But somehow from day to day... this thought seems to slip our minds. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Still in rave about this Holika Holika Face2Change BB roller after using it for over a week \^^/ I love oiseau88 so much, she's so pretty!!!

Hmm, bought it for about $42 the other day if I didn't remember wrongly. I can't stop getting amazed by its coverage! It is so so so different from the previous Snow BB cream that I got from Laneige. Not that it isn't good but this Face2Change BB cream from Holika Holika really work wonders! I am using 02 Natural Beige btw. Oiseau88 so fair, she's using 01 Light Beige. /madenvious

Just a slight push on the button at the side and tada, it is enough to cover your face :D Good make-up makes me happy. Shitz, I've got a list of items to get from Etude house... waiting for a chance to go JB and get them. All oiseau88's fault! Whatever she uses just likka nice T__T (because she chio :( )

It is the queue for fitting room that strains... I think? I can't remember how long we queued. BUT oh god, do I have to rave about how spacious the fitting rooms are? I totally love it! I can spend my whole day in it! They have everything! Cheap accessories, shoes, flats, heels, tops, bottoms, dresses, shorts, bags, lingerie.... everything that I need (and don't)! Life's a whizz. FOC was awesome! Though it was tiring and I have yet to clear my sleep debt but... it is all worth it :) hopefully the hype and the friendship will last! Kinda miss Pera already O_O It's weird how we miss people huh.
I miss TA29 after we returned from the thailand trip... miss having breakfast with them every morning and seeing them almost 20 hours a day for a week....♥ Then I miss my darlings after the taiwan trip... how we only sleep a couple of hours a day in order to fully utilise the time we have there and yet, we were unbeatable ♥ I've always been missing people... like some days, I just randomly thought of them and remember the times I've had with them and miss them. It's like I wish we never have to be apart... which is impossible.

I am happy for my friends who are basking in bliss right now and at the same time, my heart hurts for my friends who are having a rough time... :( It is only normal to feel connected to close friends' emotions right? :( I don't know if I should be happy that I am such a person....

I don't want to spend my life like this but I can't fight for what I am uncertain of.

Still, I love my work for now! Compulsory morning walks make me happier ^^

SO, back to my boring life.

Route that I have to pass by if I decided to take a bus home from Adam Rd while an alternative is to take shuttle bus to town/Queensway. Ahhh~ Indeed, nature is remedy ^^

I was 45 min early on the first day ;____; I hate to wait... lol, though I don't fancy being late for work too but still... ^^ hmm, purposely left house later on the 2nd day but I was still 30 minutes earlier and I heard hotcakes calling for me~~~ MCVALUE! ^^ I am a happy girl!

The day my extorted flats got wet T___T It was raining the whole day... took shuttle bus to the hawker at Redhill and I like it there ^^ I love the pancakes~ omnomnom.

On Friday, I thought I was going to be late for work since I left house at 7:45 when work starts at 8:30 and I still have to walk about 10 minutes after alighting D: lucky the bus came shortly after I reached the bus stop and the traffic was smooth ^^

Had lunch at the McDonald's @ Serene Centre. Fat alert T___T Hmm, I love how lunch is about 1.5 hours here ^^

First day of August and I...

So... went for FOD today and hahaha, ok lar......... not really that bad. Woke up at 8am and took forever to dig for my oversized navy tee... left house at 8:55 when the camp starts at 9am (Y) so because I was late, I almost had to join the queue to enter the hall when my dear chin gu already reach at 9am on the dot! Proof of how excited she was! ^^ hehee, sneaked to join her and my imaginary reserved seat in the group: OG21.

O-O Lucky never see Mr Shim's lookalike or else I will be so sad... so wasted... but then again, he might be straight ^^ who says straight guys can't go to gay clubs? 8. Random durian outing
This was the start of my durian craze for this year. Went to Emma's (my colleague) dance class before we head over to Geylang for some durians! We had to wait for the guys to end work so we were rotting there and we couldn't resist but ordered 1 durian first ^^

Then the guys came and they ordered Mao Shan Wang T_____T So expensive!!! I really don't bear to spend this kind of money. $150 for 3 MSW durians, shared by 5 people still must pay $30 each T___T

FINALLY!!! Thanks to ah jo chin gu! ^^
Woke up super early for it X_X I haven't wake up at 8am for quite some time... the weather was... hot, as usual but I should be glad it wasn't raining. No, there wasn't a single sign or hint of rain at all O-O

Had Starbucks as my breakfast ^^ what a good(and expensive) way to start off the day~ ^^* Acted like tourists and we convinced Kaixin that we should walk the Sentosa broadway instead of taking trams! ^^ That's what tourists do right! (self-assumption)

Then Jo and Rebekah wanna try the Cylon but Kx and I felt that we weren't ready for it yet right after the Human, lol. So we went to lepak for half an hour but it turned out that they took the Human again cause Cylon under maintenance all of a sudden D: so scary...

Myly............ just a day in SG beats being in Phuket for 4 days... even the hottest time in BKK I've experienced in June last year didn't got me tanned!!! It was just burning right into my skin, trying to set my bones on fire on something. This was worse :( I just keep on sweating like a faulty tap and at one point of time, after taking a ride on the Human of Battlestar, wobbly, dehydrated and under the scorching heat, I thought I was going to die, lol.

Need to use my Vaseline more faithfully now! Hoping to see effect. hahahaa, if possible, I would have just consume it. hahahaha, 内用比外敷强! Retarded much ^^

USS was a lot more fun than I imagined!!! Highly recommended ^^ I mean, SG also no other theme park... right?

Aish, time flies~ 3 years flew by, we had our graduation trip in Phuket/BKK and then it is time for the guys to report for National Service and Nad going overseas to study~ So like a farewell gathering, we had it at Studio M.

So this pretty up sum up my July... and I am spending the last day of July at home, lying on my bed as I am typing~

Some might think it is insane but I guess it works like any form of relationships, if you're not in it, you don't know it and you won't know how it feels. I found my pillar of support from Mr Shim! It sounds ridiculous... but when I was taking the roller coaster, his face popped up in my head and it works like a confidence boost though I was still afraid. When I was revising for bridging exams, his words came to my mind because he don't like stupid girls and he is always asking fans to get off UFO to study, to study instead of attending fan-meet and such. Such a sensible boy like him, I've fallen for him :) He might look snarky to some but that's how real he is... isn't it? He is such a role model to me. Yay to finding strength from him ^^

Hmm, orientation tomorrow and they actually asked us to dress appropriately and put e.g. t-shirt, berms, shorts, sport shoes, socks... SPORT SHOES... SPORT SHOES... SPORT SHOES?! D: Are they serious? I don't mind wearing IF everyone is wearing but I am sure that won't be the case... and I don't want to look ridiculously retarded leh... first impressions! how now? :(

Being lost is a very scary feeling and the thought that nothing seems to go right is so terrifying. Here comes the feelings we thought we lost it - one of the rare times that I feel so suppressed and helpless that I feel like tearing up :(

Is it right to continue studies just because I do not know what I want in my life and getting a degree doesn't sound like a bad idea? Opportunity cost: salaries that I could be earning. But then again, without a degree, how much can you go in a career...? Is it how it works out there? :( I don't know. So irritating. Le sigh, SIM is $IM indeed.

Indeed, money makes the world goes round. Urgh, constraints, factors to consider. I feel like a 败家女 now :(

Every time that I click 'new post', I find my mind as blank as this white background. I can't believe it is been more than 3 months since the vacations and I have yet to update. Truthfully speaking, updating about the taiwan trip will be a lot easier since the photos are in order while though I've draft the phuket + bkk one, just sorting out the pictures will probably take me forever.

These days, I've been deprived of sleep but I am very happy and don't really feel lethargic the next day cause of my full time occupation as a fangirl. Then again, there is this constant worry about the day I really finish catching up on DB5K's videos/news/articles... what do I do when the day comes?

SO I WENT BACK TO THE SHOP AFTER A GOOD 10 MINUTES UP THERE UNDER THE HOT SUN AND HOLLA, I WAS SENT OUT TO RUN ERRAND ^^

I SWEAR ERIC SAW ME. AFTER THE DIRECTOR SHOUTED "CUT!", A COORDI WENT UP AND WIPED HIS SWEAT FOR HIM AND WHILE SHE WENT TO TAKE A FAN FOR HIM, HE LOOKED UP AND GAVE ME A SLIGHT SMILE O_O NO ONE WAS IN FRONT OF ME AT THAT TIME. OMGGG.

THAT'S WHY I LOVE KOREANS. THEY JUST GOT A DIFFERENT AURA!

I DIDN'T NOTICED IT BUT THE FANS WHO TWEET/RT ME ON TWITTER SPOTTED THAT HE CHANGED HIS FANS ^^ OBSERVANT INDEED.

How can I be starstruck when it is someone I do not know but have heard of... O_O I cannot imagine if I see my OT10 so upclose in real!!! :O Indeed, free things are the best~ This is the first time I see an idol without having to pay and damn, I was so damn near to him! Right, will not touch them until I feel slimmer... that I've some space for fats to accumulate at... which is pretty impossible D: Ah, the tub of choc and vanilla gonna expire in late August :(

Waking up in 4 hours' time. Insane work schedule. Ending work at 1030pm means reaching home at 12 and then working at 945am the next day means waking up at 730am. I wish I work in town.

Dinner @ Seoul Garden with Mum and Bro and it was quite an experience O_O I will not go back again! Nothing as potent as the smell of BBQ... which isn't alluring at all :O

Ah, I love cooling days but please don't rain the day after tomorrow!!! Don't be irritatingly humid but please don't rain :( Hmm, gonna search some easy recipe now for a... not very surprise kinda surprise :3 There are so many things I want to do. Traveling and attending concerts are no longer possible :( It is time I save up on food... which I've said like 3 years ago? Myly everybody went Poly and slimmed down but it seems to be the opposite for me. Ok, there are reasons one lar so not myly... :O This is totally so me. All because of the lack of self-control, I find myself overspending, overeating and never saving.

Probably time I get some discipline >:( aish, I need to have it for that one month of bridging, NO MORE WASTING OF MONEY. Huge investment made. But but but I forget how to do A.maths already... :(
